Project 2
Dream Classroom
Design Process
I was given the exciting task of redesigning a classroom into my dream learning space, where creativity and comfort come together to enhance the overall educational experience. As part of this assignment, I was required to create both orthographic and perspective drawings that would accurately represent my vision.
In designing this classroom, I aimed to create an environment that balances both work and relaxation. To achieve this, I incorporated some unique and engaging furniture pieces, such as a snooker table and foosball table. These additions are intended to provide students with a fun and relaxing space where they can unwind and recharge after a long day of studying. My goal was to craft a classroom that not only facilitates focused learning but also fosters a sense of community and enjoyment, making it a space where students genuinely look forward to spending their time.

Self-Reflection
Throughout Project 2, I have developed a strong understanding of the architectural techniques required to create orthographic and perspective drawings. These skills are crucial in accurately conveying my design ideas to others, as they allow me to represent spatial relationships, proportions, and details with precision. Mastering the correct methods for these drawings has significantly improved my ability to communicate my concepts visually, ensuring that my ideas are clear and easily understood by others.
To enhance my learning experience, I frequently referred to the outstanding works of my seniors, which I found on MyTimes and Facebook. These references provided me with valuable insights and inspiration, guiding me as I worked through the various stages of the project. With these resources, I was able to successfully complete Project 2 independently, applying the techniques I learnt with confidence.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Adib, my tutor, whose face-to-face guidance and supportive advice were invaluable throughout this project. His hands-on approach to teaching helped me overcome challenges and refine my skills, and his encouragement motivated me to push the boundaries of my creativity. His mentorship has been instrumental in my growth as a student of architecture.
